Renting office space for the printing company I founded in High School and owning a home when I married in 1972 introduced me to the value of Real Estate ownership and how it impacts everybody’s lifestyle. When computers revolutionized the printing industry, I worked for Tele-Direct, Xerox, Interleaf & Data General as a sales representative, selling electronique printing and typesetting systems. During these years, I always owned our home and at least one income property. During the 90’s, the arrival of the PC and the ease of use made it possible for companies to sell systems without the need of sales representatives… time to move on… I started to flip properties for profit. Finding opportunities, financing the purchase, planning the work and finally presenting the property to the market. It turns out that my Real Estate representative made as much money as I did!! She earned every penny! I started my last career as a Real Estate Sales Representative in 2000. My goal was to work for Buyers and Sellers and also to build a pension that would allow me to retire. What a wonderful experience it is to work for people who either buy their first Home or Investment property. It is a long term commitment! Understanding the process, financing the deal, making the necessary modifications, attracting great tenants, being the landlord’s agent and teaching them to become proud homeowners or landlords. Real Estate ownership is my solution to building a pension and I want to work for others who want to take control of their financial future and get rewarded for their decision to own real estate.
