Originally hailing from the West Coast, Cynthia stepped into Real Estate nearly 30 years ago, and hasn’t looked back since. Cynthia dove deep into her career and discovered a true passion for helping people realize their real estate goals. She has served on multiple Real Estate boards from arbitration to MLS rules & regulations. Her journey eastward brought her great accomplishment as a full-time agent as well as a certified coach & trainer, with her eye on her clients’ success and the knowledge of the power of homeownership – especially for women. Cynthia appreciates & understands the relationships with her clients and holds their successes among her greatest accomplishments.

Cynthia’s method involves open and honest communication. Her insatiable love of research combined with her many years in the industry give her the kind of intuition that homebuyers can lean on for top tier advice when it comes to location, timing, and budget. This has led to a strong ongoing list of generations of clients. Having lived in the East and West ends of Ottawa, Cynthia has her finger on the pulse of the many different neighbourhoods, and knows what these areas have to offer.

The McGiverin lineage in Ottawa stems back to the early 1800’s, with family members serving as Members of Parliament, members of the Rideau Club, and were integral in launching the CNE in Toronto and the now disbanded Ottawa SuperEx. Perhaps Cynthia’s passion for giving back is in her DNA!

In her spare time Cynthia spends time with her husband and two dogs, savours every moment of summer, and carefully plans out her social media strategies.
