Ian graduated from Bishop’s University in 2004, obtaining a degree in Political Studies, with a minor in Public Policy and Public Administration.
Before beginning his career in real estate, Ian worked for both national and international retailers in various management roles.
In 2012, Ian became licensed in real estate, subsequently became a Broker in 2017 and ultimately transitioned into real estate management in 2019.
Ian looks forward to facing the many challenges that the future will bring the ever evolving real estate industry and knows navigating these challenges will be made easier by leveraging the collective wisdom of the entire Royal LePage team, as well as by collaborating both with the Ottawa Real Estate Board and with City of Ottawa officials.
Ian believes strongly in giving back to his community and in 2019 began serving as a member of the Ottawa Real Estate Board’s Professional Standards Committee (PSC) and in 2021 accepted the nomination to become the Chairperson of PSC. Ian is also a proud member of the Ottawa Real Estate Board’s Commercial Services Division and has been a volunteer member of multiple community associations’ planning committees.
Ian has a particular interest in investment real estate, property management and all things dealing with Residential and Commercial Tenancy.
When making the decision to join an organization, Ian looks for businesses that are closely aligned with his own core values and at Royal LePage Team, Ian has found the perfect match.
